Voice Scramble
We are now launching Voice Scramble for Whistlelink Voice Messages, ensuring complete anonymity for the reporting person.
Oral reporting will now feature voice distortion for all customers.
For clients who have made updates to their whistleblowing site, we kindly request you to modify the text on the Voice Message page as follows:
“By recording and sending the report, you agree to the processing of the personal data included in this audio message.
The message will be distorted to ensure your anonymity. You can listen to your own report before submitting it”.
Clients who haven’t made any changes to their page now have the updated text on the Voice Message page.
We encourage you to test the feature to understand how oral reports will sound with voice distortion.
You can try it at the Whistlelink test page.
- To test Voice Scramble, click on ‘New recording’ to record your report.
- After finishing, you can listen to your report by clicking the ‘Play’ button.
- Any report submitted from the test site will be received by Whistlelink’s customer support team.
- It is also possible to listen to your recording without submitting the report.
For our existing customers who have not yet activated Voice Messages, we strongly recommend doing so!
By enabling Voice Messages, you won’t need to worry about implementing a phone hotline or a similar solution to comply with whistleblowing laws.
To activate the Voice Message feature, log in to Whistlelink and navigate to: Whistleblowing site – Settings – Site information – Allow voice recordings.
Remember to publish your site again. You have now enabled oral reporting with Voice Scramble on your reporting site.
